A nose of red cherry drop, red rose petals, orange zest, underbrush and sandalwood. The palate is distinctly red fruited, cherry with touches of oak spice and blood orange emerging on the midpalate. Good tannic grip and lively acidity make for a wine that will develop well over the next five or eight years, but it's already pretty good wine for those first warm evening barbecues.
