He's travelled the globe making Sauvignon Blanc, but he came home to Pouilly Fume to make what we suspect is the best Sauvignon Blanc this side of Daguenau. Hand-farmed, low yield, carefully vinified grapes of sky high quality.\u003c\/div\u003e\n\u003cdiv class=\"gmail_default\"\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003c\/div\u003e\n\u003cdiv class=\"gmail_default\"\u003eLooks can be deceiving. Antoine left this wine on the skins for more than a month to give the wine extra structure and complexity. When he added a dash of sulfur to the mix, it stripped the orange color, but none of the flavor. This smells of orange sorbet and pepper, with a dusty note of tannin lingering.
