Hervé Souhaut's five hectare domaine is in St-Joseph, looking directly across the Rhone river at Hermitage and filled with vines 50 to 100 years old. Hervé farms and vinifies naturally, and makes a classic northern Rhone Syrah without the title. Gorgeous meaty notes, tapenade, and elegantly rendered strawberry fruits coexist in perfect harmony.
