They planted a bit of Savagnin from Nicholas' vines in Frantz's Burgundy vineyards, so if ever another pandemic lockdown came along, they would be doing business things while visiting each other.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIncidentally, the wine is brilliant. Savagnin's irrepressible personality comes through loud and clear with intense notes of lemon curd and herbs. The limestone-rich soil comes through nicely too.
