Drawn from Carignan vines planted in 1903, this wine is farmed at ludicrously low yields and gently handled through production to preserve the delicate and subtle mineral and earth notes of the wine. The result is a slow developing, expressive red that will benefit from some decanting before dinner, or a decade or two in the cellar. Perhaps the finest version of Carignan that exists.
