In the mildew-cursed 2023 vintage, Christine Dupuy at Labranche Laffont made one red wine. This Tannat is a careful selection of all the red grapes that survived in her vineyard. Since it is made from some of the best Madiran vines around, it has more character than the price suggests, though it's a somewhat lighter edition of Madiran than typical.
