Sandra Bravo is one of a growing movement of winemakers in Rioja who are reviving Rioja's historic traditions, tapping into the very oldest roots of the region, and reimagining what these mountains are capable of. Generally speaking, Sandra works with vineyards at higher elevation, and places where tractors can't go. Her wines are sublime, and speak of a Rioja that existed before anyone thought to use oak barrels there.
