Schioppettino is the grape that should be much better known. I should be recognized as one of the finest red wines of northern Italy, rather than the rare curiosity it is. We're glad to have what does come around, and even happier that I Clivi devotes some space in their vineyards to this aromatic, spicy grape. Fresh black and blue and red berries, pepper, and flowers.
