Le Marie Spumante Metodo Classico NV
A traditional method sparkler made from Chardonnay grown on high elevation parcels. This wine spent 30 months on the yeast, making for a champagne-kin creaminess with bright peachy flavors and a fresh, finish that offers both flowers and yeast.

Le Marie Pinerolese Bianco Saint'Agostino 2022
A tiny plot of old vine Arneis that hardly yields any fruit at all, but what does grow is more concentrated than lowland Arneis, filled with tension, green melon, lemon and lime, tarragon and mint. Totally delicious wine big enough for chicken dishes, but crisp enough to enjoy in the sun with a wedge of alpine cheese.

Le Marie Pinerolese Barbera 2021
We're thrilled to have another round of this utterly delicious Barbera. When we put this in the January 2023 newsletter it was a bundle of joyful red fruit, but it's grown up a little bit over the year. There's more distinct earth notes, clay and pepper and brambles alongside the fountain of strawberry sunshine.

Le Marie Pinerolese Rouge de Lissart 2021
The Rouge de Lissart is Le Marie's capstone wine, a blend of Barbera, Bonarda, Chatus, and Neretta Cuneese. Somehow, the result tastes more of Piedmont than most Barolos we've tasted. As with most of Le Marie's wines, the vines are very old, resulting in densely packed aromas of deep black cherry and marionberry, black-red rose petals, and clay-streaked earth and underbrush. There's structure here - not too much for a barbecued eggplant, but enough for the steak. Versatility is the name of the game for this one.
