"The 2021 In the Hills Syrah is a mélange of 95% Syrah and 5% Viognier that is co-fermented in mostly neutral oak. Crunchy blue and black fruits merge perfectly with the meaty-gamey notes that pop alongside flavors of crushed black peppercorns, bacon fat, and toasted fennel seed. Lush across the tongue on the finish, it's a wine you will come back to over and over as it evolves in the glass. This will drink incredibly well for the next 10-12 years. Highly recommended."
