Else Zuschmann makes the wine. Peter Schofmann tends the vines. Together, they keep a classic Austrian Heuriger, a winery-tavern that offers up a traditional menu of sausages, potatoes, and wine. This is their Gemischter Satz, a wine as traditional to Austria as Schnitzel. A cofermented blend of up to a dozen white varieties, Gemischter Satz wines are always pungent in aroma and complex, but bubbling with energy and nerve.
