Aged in Oregon Oak of various ages 10 months. 100% Whole cluster, 50% each Pinot Noir and Gamay. One of the primary characteristics of Marin Estate grapes is the intense, black-purple-neon color of the juice, which signifies intensity, even if – once in possession of the winemakers – all that power and structure is handled more gently. The wine smells of  pitch black cherry, cedar, rosewater, persimmon, cherry cola, and red plum. The texture is velvet, with cherries of all colors, loamy earth underneath, and a burst of fresh strawberry candy on the finish.
