The last part of our four part series takes us from dinner’s second course all the way through dessert. Oloroso Sherry is often considered the finest grade. It ages longer and slower and can reach levels of richness, intensity, and complexity that few other dry wines can reach. We will also have a few examples of sweet Sherry. This category is very popular (especially in the UK), but it remains a confusing and complex subset. The difference between a Pale Cream Sherry and a Pedro Ximenez is bigger than the difference between Fino and Oloroso. Come find your favorite among the deepest, darkest, nuttiest and sweetest Sherry has to offer.
