This awesome Volnay strikes the perfect balance between limpid, delicate red strawberry fruit, dew-coated flowers, and dusty soil. We acknowledge that this wine is intended to age a decade or two in the cellar - and the elegantly set tannins and silky acidity are ready to do just that - but it's going to be hard to stay away from this one. It's already very tasty, and shows an impressive display of baking spice nuance.
