The Dundee Hills Pinot Noir is the first focused glimpse of the character and intensity that Cameron's reserve wines will bring from the vintage. In 2024, even that glimpse is like a trip to the IMAX theater. Aromas fly out of the glass at warp speed, and the palate runs deep like the ocean. About half of this wine comes from Abbey Ridge's "Road block", heritage Coury clones of Pinot Noir that yield those beautiful red fruit aromas of cherry and strawberry, orange oil and the organic earth signature that runs through every Cameron release. The palate has delightful velvety tannins and reverberating acidity that suggest this wine could last a while in the cellar, if you can stay away from it.
