With apologies to all Greek winemakers who labor under the constant refrain This wine is like that familiar French or Italian one, this wine gives strong Italian vibes. Perhaps this is because Italy learned everything it ever came to know about wine from Greece. Aromas of black cherry, blackcurrant, and leather, tamarind, black pepper, and dry soil. The palate shows more cherries and hazelnuts, earth and excellently crafted tannins, present accounted for but soft like barley shaking in the wind. The finish offers more of everything above with a touch blueberry.
