Le Piane is legendary for their finely detailed, ethereal Nebbiolo, blended with a fistful of local varieties that call the obscure Boca region home. They make just a tiny bit of white wine too, this Erbaluce that shows the same sort of aromatic intensity and textural finesse. Not many people work with this variety from Piedmont's Alpine rim, but every one we come across is a whole new world of flavor, from orchard fruits to mountain herbs, with plenty of minerality too!
