Half red-fleshed Gamay, half Altesse, all planted in limestone rich soils. The grapes are pressed directly with no time on the skin at all, lending the wine a pale pink color. The Altesse ages for one year, the Gamay for two, yielding a non-vintage blend.
Tasting notes: nose of strawberries and peach, fresh pink roses in the rain, granite, wintergreen. Palate is light, lemony, white strawberries and canned peaches. Outrageously good.
