The nose on this wine is pure perfume. Big wild strawberries, ruby red cherries, notes of cinnamon and clove, rose garden, and orange zest, all given with the 2021 vintage's signature intensity. The palate is feathery delicate, with silky tannins laced around a waft of clean, bright acidity. Flavors are just as pure as the nose, starting with straw- and ending with -berry, but somehow touching on baking spice, crumbly clay earth and underbrush along the way.
