Filipa Pato is the latest and perhaps greatest member of Bairrada's most famous winemaking family. Not content to simply take over her father Luis' domaines, Filipa has developed a reputation of her own for exciting, mineral-driven wines from Bairrada's Atlantic-influenced vineyards along Portugal's central coast. This red wine is made from Bairrada's favorite red grape, Baga. Lean, approachable, with the dual elements of bright red fruit and spice-driven earth, it's a wine that begs and pleads for food.
