Chris Mazepink's own vineyard offers unusually strong earthy notes to the wine, so his prized block of Pinot Noir is the earthy wine of the set. Basalt minerality, smoky notes, salted blueberries, sassafras, dark cherries and a lingering dark chocolate finish. This wine has the tannic backbone to pair to hearty fare.
