Pre-sale: Wines due late 2026

This Pinot Noir is a clonal blend of roughly equal portions of Wadenswil and Pommard Pinot Noir. The Wadenswil (an aromatic Swiss clone) gives the wine fresh red cherry and raspberry fruit notes and hints of lavender and Cara Cara orange. The Pommard clone (from the village of the same name in Burgundy) gives the wine a suave, full bodied texture, pie cherries and earthy clay accents that appear on both the nose and the palate. Like so many wines we’ve seen from 2024, this wine has loads of fresh acidity, gentle but firm tannins, and moderate alcohol. It’s vibrant and delicious now, but it will age gracefully over the next two decades.
