This is a cuvee made from the most elegant barrel from the Abbey Ridge vineyard. It is drawn from the massale selection of old Martin Ray clones that are the secret sauce on Abbey Ridge, vines with an old and wild story that traces back through some of the best Pinot Noir vineyards in the United States and Burgundy. It is Cameron's best and rarest Pinot Noir.

2021 was a brilliantly fresh vintage whose wines always have a surplus of aroma, and this best barrel selection is a perfect example of this quality. Notes of raspberries bursting ripe, blood orange, sweet cinnamon, clay and tarragon and underbrush lead into a palate of pure silk, with almost cloud-like texture but doggedly persistent flavors of sappy cherry, baking spices, and fresh earth that linger far longer than seems reasonable.
