This wine is the easier drinking, stainless-steel fermented and aged edition of white wine made by Bouscassé. That said, there is little winemakers in Gascon France can do to tone down the personality of their white wines. A blend of Petit Courbu with 30% Petit Manseng, this wine is exotic, full bodied, and crackling with energy. The luxurious nose offers notes of roasted pineapple, and peach, honeycomb, jasmine and lime zest. The palate is full bodiedn and creamy thanks to continuous lees stirring over the course of 10 months in tank. Flavors include orange curd, lemon zest, white strawberry and a touch of pipe smoke. A magical pair with duck and other poultry, or a powerfully seasoned halibut.
