This is one of the best wines to comes from the middle of the Atlantic ocean. That is one of the only wines to make it off the Azores islands and all the way to us should not in any way diminish how incredible it is. The fruit here ranges from apples to peaches and is deeply felt at every station. The winds and ocean mist that permeate the vineyards and the winery on the island of Pico find their way into each bottle, and this wine is simply sublime. Great for any sort of thing that comes out of the sea, but we think this wine would also stand up to some powerfully spiced pork dishes.
