A mixture of pommard and Wadenswil clones, a neat yin-and-yang combination of punchy rich cherry for the mid-palate and high toned flowers and strawberries for the nose. That nose begins with strawberries, touches of black cherry and pomegranate, pure clay jory soil and blood orange peel. The palate arrives fully formed, 2024 structure in a nutshell with burbling acidity running throughout, and long, taut tannins wrapped around black cherries, raspberries, organic earth and clay. Big but not heavy, powerful but perfectly balanced.
