Tomeu Llabrés is the brilliant winemaker of Ca'n Verdura, part of the Viticultura in Minitura project, dedicated to preserving the ancient native grapes of Mallorca. The Ca'n Xicatla is made from the rare Blanc de Mantonegro, a coppery light skinned mutation of the also rare regular Mantonegro. Elegant, full bodied but spicy with herbs and etched with acidity, this is a brilliant taste of an age old wine from the heart of the Mediterranean.
