"Audacious" is the name of this cuvee, because the winemakers at Chateau de la Selve know it's a pretty strange idea to blend Syrah, Grenache, and Viognier into a rose and then age it in a mixture of used Sauternes barrels and clay amphorae for an extra year. We're glad they did do it, because this wine is simply spectacular! Richly textured, with nuanced flavors of red berries and pink flowers.
