Gutadel is the local name for Chasselas in southern Germany, and Makalie is one of the most exciting new producers of this workhorse grape. White plum, beeswax, lemon curd, orange blossom, za’atar spice, sesame oil. Palate is lean, lemon balm and orange blossoms through, salt, sesame seed lingers on fin with yellow fruits.
