If the Eola Amity Cuvee is the weighty one, Folly of Man gives pure tension, and Nuestro Sueno is the silky, elegant Pinot, Alex's Orchard House Pinot is where the structure is. There's red cherry and strawberry notes, but the most powerful impression on the nose is forest floor: dried leaves, underbrush and mushroomy savor. This is a Pinot Noir for steak in the short term, but it has the tannic backbone to develop over time.
