Sandra Bravo uses Tempranillo and Garnacha grown in the very highest, coldest vineyard plot she owns to make her Sierra de Toloño Rosado. Since most of her vineyards are already among the highest elevation in Rioja, this is pretty impressive. Harvest took place in late November for some vines, without sacrificing a jot of acidity or the freshness for which Sandra is famous.

The wine smells of cherries and tobacco leaf, strawberries and wild scrub brush. The palate is bursting with red berries, fresh herbs, and rosemary that lingers throughout the finish.
