There was a time, not so very long ago, when this fabulous little Arbois Savagnin was imported directly into Oregon, indeed this was the FIRST place in the country it was available, and it was one of the very best values available from Jura. Times change, and distribution channels get more complex (and more expensive, and then New York drinks up most of it), but Andre-Jean and Heleana Morin still make some powerfully great wine in Jura. This Savagnin combines the incredible nutty essences of the region, set on the miter's edge by the yeasty Voile, with impressive limestone mineral tension.
