Clos Electrique Blanc is always a blend of clonal material (and a secret splash of other varieties like Pinot Blanc and Friulano). The results in 2023 were more "Meursault like", with an emphasis on creamy texture and slow-developing aromas. Notes up front include apple and white pepper, lime leaf and lemongrass, with a touch of incense. The palate shows apple and white pepper again in a full bodied, creamy textured medium. The finish offers more apples, with salt and orange peel lingering.
