The wine starts with aromas of ginger, smoked peach, orange cream, slate, honeycomb, and salt. Given three days of maceration on the skins, the Jakot has a characteristic extra bit of texture on the full bodied palate, with rich citrus flavors and touches of pepper, lychee, and white blossoms.
