John Paul has long been a fan of the white wines of Friuli. So much so that he has planted a slice of the region in his own Dundee Hills Vineyard. This is a mix of grapes including Friulano, Ribolla Gialla, Pinot Bianco, Pinot Grigio, Muscat, and others, vinified for intensity, just like the Italian original. The nose is a punchy mix of Gardenia, peach blossoms, orange, margarita salt rim, golden plum, and chamomile.On the palate, this wine is full bodied and buzzing with acidity. Peach and orange and strawberry fruit with mineral salts. Clean cut and zesty sunshine burst of fruit on the finish.
