The palate is full bodied, with a silky aspect, pure cherry fruit with a touch of orange oil, baking spice, cocoa, and toffee that lingers on the finish. There's appealing acidity that holds the wine aloft throughout. This was just bottled, so it's showing impressive clarity and texture that will only improve, especially considering the 50% new oak, 10 month elevage.
