Nose of hazelnut and allspice, purple plums and blackberries, dried sage in dusty earth. Palate is full, with generous black fruit, cedar, and barrel spices. Tannins build with repeated sipping, and a touch of orange oil lingers on the finish with dried herbs.

Ripe plum and berry aromas with flowers and sandalwood. Full bodied and layered with plenty of fruit, as well as creamy tannins. Dried citrus and crushed stone. I would leave it a year or two to soften, but nicely done.
